Dr Oliver Morris will be chairing the discussion and is Director of Education & Skills for UK Music. UK Music is the collective voice of the UK’s world-leading music industry. We represent all sectors of our industry – bringing them together to collaborate, campaign, and champion music. The members of UK Music are: AIM, BPI, FAC, The Ivors Academy, MMF, MPA, MPG, MU, PPL, PRS for Music.

 

Sara Whybrew is Apprenticeship Programme lead for ScreenSkills. ScreenSkills is the industry-led skills body for the screen industries – film, television (including children’s, unscripted and high-end), VFX (visual effects), animation and games. We are supporting economic recovery and future innovation and growth across the nations and regions by investing in the skilled and inclusive workforce who are critical to the UK screen industries’ global success.

 

Mae Yip is co-founder of ERIC the award-winning career exploration app supporting Gen Z break into the creative industries. Our founders Sam & Mae were both inherently creative thinkers and careers advice at school never resonated with them. It was always so disengaging and corporate focused. So, they created ERIC to fill this gap and allow for the new generation of creatives to easily access the best career resources and at the touch of a button.

 

Nina Radojewski is Professional Development Lead & Executive Assistant to Paul Pacifico at AIM. She is also Chair of UK Music’s Education & Skills Committee. AIM is the not-for-profit trade body exclusively representing the UK’s independent music sector, which makes up a quarter of the recorded music market. Now in its 20th year, AIM’s members range from the largest, most respected record labels and associated music businesses in the world to self-releasing artists and the next generation of entrepreneurs in music.
